Nielsen Brandbank, a global leader in digital product content, is proud to announce that leading UK retailer Marks & Spencer has selected Nielsen Brandbank to manage their product information for lines on Ocado.com.
Through this partnership, Nielsen Brandbank will be managing product information for all M&S own label products for the retailer’s new online offering as part of the joint venture with Ocado. Both parties have been working together since March 2020 to ensure all back of pack content was ready ahead of the 1st September 2020 launch, which allowed shoppers to familiarise themselves with the products available, including customer favourites like Percy Pig and the M&S Remarksable Value range.
Providing Ocado shoppers with a new assortment of products with over 5,000 of the M&S range available at launch, M&S want to provide rich product information to customers to make informed decisions when buying online.
With grocery ecommerce growing at 117% in the UK (Nielsen Total Till), the launch of M&S products for online grocery shoppers could not have been better timed.
