John oversees the direction and leadership of Nielsen Brandbank, bringing his extensive experience of international markets and a deep understanding of the digital shopper.

Having joined Nielsen Brandbank in 2016, he previously led commercial and product management teams within Nielsen Brandbank, focusing on creating and delivering a consistently high quality service for some of the world’s biggest brands. He has 24 years of international Nielsen experience across several countries and business practices, including International Business Development and Global Product Leadership.

Maru joined Nielsen Brandbank in 2016, and is responsible for ensuring that the Nielsen Brandbank group operates as effectively and efficiently as possible. Prior to joining us she worked at Nielsen in Finance, Operations and Data Integrity roles around the world. Maru specialises in business process improvement and also has a wealth of experience in project management, strategic and tactical analysis and financial modelling.

Chris ensures that the Finance function across the group operates as effectively and efficiently as possible and that the group’s financial and human resource strategy is aligned with group objectives. He initially joined Nielsen Brandbank in 2010 as a financial controller, responsible for all elements of the day-to-day accounting and HR functions.

Jeff Mapp

Group IT Director


Jeff joined us in 2017, bringing a wealth of technology and management expertise with a career spanning almost 20 years at Nielsen. Jeff started his career at Nielsen as the UK & Ireland IT Infrastructure Manager, and he progressed to leading all of UK IT, followed by a series of European and Global IT roles as the company evolved. Prior to Nielsen, Jeff served in the British Navy, was a qualified electronics engineer, and held other IT roles in various commercial organisations.
