Immagino case study

In early 2014, Nielsen Brandbank successfully set up a reseller partnership with GS1 Italy, launching ‘Immagino’ in the Italian grocery sector.

Before working with Nielsen Brandbank, GS1 Italy was providing an essential service to Italian retailers, but didn’t yet have the capability to handle high quality product images, rich product data, customer-facing copy and other digital assets designed to market a product to the ultimate consumer. GS1 Italy needed a partner to integrate B2C and B2B content, without compromising their existing, established operation.

GS1 Italy turned to Nielsen Brandbank, who were ultimately able to install and apply their service with GS1 Italy within three months, giving Immagino a successful launch in April 2014.

The Results

Now two years into the relationship, Immagino has given Italian retailers and suppliers a single source of consistent, quality product content, with 83% market coverage across core grocery retail.
